Privacy Policy

Last updated: 23 October 2026

This page explains which personal data we collect when you visit cragliamarmigroup.it, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you have. It is written in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Italian Privacy Code (Legislative Decree 196/2003).

Who processes your data

The data controller is Craglia Marmi Verona srl, Via dei Marmisti 29, 37010 Pastrengo (VR), Italy, VAT no. IT12587971008.
For any question or request about your data you can write to verona@cragliamarmi.it or call +39 045 6770444.

What data we collect and why

1. Information request forms

On the material pages the “Richiedi Informazioni” button opens a form where you give us your name, phone number, e-mail, optionally your company and VAT number, and the text of your request. The Neolith › Transformers page also asks for province and postcode. We use this data only to reply to you and, if you ask, to prepare a quotation. The forms are protected against spam by a hidden field and a minimum completion time check, both performed on our server: no external services and no cookies are used.

Legal basis: pre-contractual measures taken at your request (art. 6.1.b GDPR); for the anti-spam check, our legitimate interest in protecting the forms from abuse (art. 6.1.f).
Retention: for as long as needed to handle the request and, if no business relationship follows, up to 12 months after the last contact. If you become a customer, the data is kept for the duration of the relationship and for the periods required by law.

2. E-mail and telephone

If you write to the addresses shown on the site or call us, we process the data you give us in order to follow up. The same legal bases and retention periods as the forms apply. We do not disclose it to third parties, except for the suppliers listed below.

3. Browsing data

The website is hosted on the servers of a hosting provider (to be confirmed: provider name). Like any web server, it automatically records some technical data at each visit: IP address, date and time, requested page, outcome of the request, browser type and operating system. This is needed to run the site, protect it from abuse and detect faults. We do not use it to identify you.

Legal basis: legitimate interest in the security and operation of the service (art. 6.1.f). Retention: the hosting provider's technical retention times, normally a few days, unless it is needed to investigate offences.

4. Content from other websites (only with your consent)

Some pages embed videos from YouTube (Google) and Vimeo and the Google Maps map showing our location. Until you accept the “Third parties and marketing” category this content is not loaded and you see a box with the provider's name instead. If you enable it, the provider receives data about your visit (for example IP address and device) and may set its own cookies, according to its privacy policy (Google, Vimeo).

Legal basis: consent (art. 6.1.a), which you can withdraw at any time from the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of every page.

5. Links to other websites

Some pages link to websites run by others, for example the manufacturer Neolith. These are plain links: nothing from those sites is loaded until you open them, and from then on their own privacy policy applies.

6. Consent record

To document the choices made in the cookie banner, as required by the Italian Data Protection Authority, we keep a record on our server containing: date, a random code generated by your browser, categories accepted or rejected, cookie policy version, language and page. We do not store your IP address or any other data that could identify you.

Legal basis: obligation to prove consent (art. 7.1 GDPR). Retention: for as long as proof of consent is needed.

Who we share data with

Data may be processed by our authorised staff and by suppliers working for us as data processors: the hosting provider, e-mail services and any consultants. With your consent, browsing data also reaches Google and Vimeo as described above. We do not sell your data and do not pass it on for the advertising purposes of others.

Transfers outside the European Union

Google and Vimeo may transfer data to the United States. These transfers rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision (EU-US Data Privacy Framework) and, where necessary, on standard contractual clauses. You can ask us for a copy of the safeguards in place.

Your rights

At any time you can ask us to:

  • tell you which of your data we process and give you a copy (access);
  • correct it if it is inaccurate or incomplete (rectification);
  • delete it when it is no longer needed or if you withdraw consent (erasure);
  • restrict its use while a check is pending (restriction);
  • give it to you in a machine-readable format or transfer it to another controller (portability);
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest;
  • withdraw consent already given, without affecting processing that has already taken place.

Just write to verona@cragliamarmi.it. We reply within one month. If you believe the processing breaks the law you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it) or your local authority.

Compulsory and optional data

In the forms the compulsory fields are needed to reply to you: without them the request cannot be sent. Company, VAT number, province and postcode are optional. Accepting third-party cookies is always optional and does not change access to the site, apart from the embedded videos and map.

Minors

The site is aimed at businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 14.

Changes

If we change this notice, we publish the new version here with the update date. If the change affects processing based on consent, we ask for it again.

For cookies and other tracking tools read the cookie policy.
